Father Friends with Baby at Birth

I know I've had instances in my game where both the mother and father were friends with the new baby at birth.  However, I don't know what made this happen and what I can do about it.  I had the dad talk to the tummy, etc. and he was still only barely acquainted with the baby when she was born.  Any suggestions?

Charisma challenges & celebrity seem to be the best way to make it happen.

Even with some I've yet to have a father be friends with the baby.  I just remembered the attractive LTR used to help but I don't know if it's new version still does.
