I have had this happen to me in my practice files as well. I've found that getting their relationship up to full using romantic interactions other than make-out, try for baby and woohoo, then having them do their own thing the rest of the day before trying for baby on day two usually takes care of the problem. It puts me one day later, but it has worked in three different practice files.

Have you tried doing is in different locations?  Like in the shower.  Or giving one the Master of Seduction lifetime reward?
