Seasons Installation Error! Please Help!

Hello and a Happy New Year to everyone, again!

So, this time I tried to install TS3 Seasons pack on my computer after waiting for more than 4 hours for it to download from the Origin. And then another problem shows up! When I click "Ready to install" a window will open twice from InstallWizard saying 'Unable to launch'. Repeated the same for many times and it does the same even by trying to install it with the disc inside the computer! Can anyone help me, please? I've been waiting so long to play this specific EP and now it won't even install in my computer Just don't tell me I have to reinstall everything from the start, even the Base Game...And, yes, I do have the latest version of the launcher; 1.42

Do you have the Sims open in anyway?  The launcher or the actual game?  Sometimes my launcher doesn't disappear it just goes hiding in the dock.  Make sure it's not there and then try again perhaps.

No it's not open. Hope this was the problem :/ I've even exited Origin or cancelled my net connection so the disc might do the job, but the same problem appears. I deleted the file that was downloaded from Origin so I can start again with the disc but no difference...So desperate, not knowing what to do!

Restart the computer and try again.

Do you have an antivirus that could possibly be blocking it?  You're positive that your computer meets the minimum specs for Seasons?

Well, I do have an antivirus but it hasn't blocked any of the other EPs I've installed. Last week I installed Supernatural and it ran normally. Today I got Seasons and I decided to download it this time from Origin so I don't have to use any disk at all and it downloaded it after 4+ hours but when it came to the installation time it just wouldn't launch. I checked the versions and things and it all works fine and it is supported to my computer. I don't know what's going on. I tried to install it from another user but it says the same, I restarted the computer, same, I deleted the file that was downloaded from Origin and tried to install it in the traditional way, the same... The message that appears from InstallShield Wizard is 'Unable to launch C:\DOCUME~1\blah blah blah\The Sims 3 Seasons_code.exe' and then I close this and another one appears saying the same but finish by '\The Sims 3 Seasons_uninst.exe' I went to these addresses to see if there is any problem coming from there but can't even find those files :/ I tried to copy the files from the disc to a document I named 'The Sims 3 Seasons' in the Programm Files/Electronic Arts (stupid I know, but I was desperate and nothing new happened...) I don't know what else I have to do...I think the only solution is to reinstall everything from the start but this will take a very long time and I might lose many things and lastly, it might not even work...
