Help! My simbot stinks and I can't get him clean!

My simbot works at the Bistro and something happened at work to make him have the "Smelly" moodlet. I've tried having him take a shower; that didn't work. Then I tried using a shower in a can. It didn't work but it didn't short out my simbot either. I didn't see any options in dialog or in by clicking on himself.

What can I do?

Spend a bunch of happiness points to buy the Moodlet Manager is the only way I can think of to clear that without cheating, since simbots don't have a hygene bar.

If you don't mind using a cheat to clear what's obviously a bug, you can turn on testingcheats and right-click the moodlet to get rid of it.

Check his inventory. Usually that's caused by spoiled food in the inventory.

Isn't that a different moodlet than the "smelly" one?  One is the dirty sock that comes when their hygiene is low and the other is a trash can brought on by dirty surroundings.  I think the bad food in inventory comes to the trash can one.
