Building second floor

Ever since I've installed seasons I can't save after starting to build a second floor to my house. Even if I only put in one piece of wall, when I want to save the game crashes and the only thing I can do is shut down the program.
 My computer is almost brand new and made to run some heavy graphic programs, so that's not the issue. It's starting to annoy me, because after three times of crashing it deletes my file and I have to restore it from the back up... Any one else got this?
