I have started a sim in the singer career for the first time, and when she sings for tips, or performs a song, she pulls out the microphone, then it disappears from her hand, and she doesn't actually sing anything. She managed to sing a song once, but once she finished that song, she went back to not singing. Is this usual for low level singers, or is it a glitch?
EDIT: I discovered finally that it is a known glitch. I started a new file, and made my sim without the born performer trait this time, and haven't given her the LTR that helps performances, and currently she is singing just fine. I also made sure I removed everything from her inventory. Before starting the new game, I cleared my save games and caches. Fingers crossed that once she gets a gig she'll actually be able to perform it!
