Quickest meal to prepare
« on: November 28, 2012, 12:24:15 PM »
I would like to know the fastest way to complete the cooking skill journal achievements that want you to prepare 50/75 meals.

I have always just churned out autumn salads because to my eye they seem pretty quick to make but I've been thinking that maybe with all the new recipes since than there may be a recipe even quicker to prepare that I haven't discovered yet.

Veggie egg rolls are very quick also, does not require cooking.  Not sure of skill level though.

I think they are only level 2 or 3. I like skilling up in Sim China early in the game so that works out well.

Thank you! I will try them for a change.

Sushi is fast and you get it at level 4.

Another fast one that came with supernatural is ceviche, but that's level 10 cooking.

Be sure to get a food processor.  It will make even autumn salad faster.

I always liked using the cheese plate you get from France.

And, it has the added benefit of being available at any time if thr day or night.

Another good one I have found that's available all day is the horse granola.  If you have a food processor, you don't need counter space to make it.  Just a stove and then it goes straight into the inventory.

That's clever making pet food because it goes directly into the sims inventory! I waste so much time staring at my sims prepare meals and one by one drag the plate into the garbage.

Very smart indeed.  8)
