Ghost Hunter Retired Bug?
« on: June 26, 2010, 09:55:22 AM »
When my Sim became an elder, I retired her from the ghost hunter career at level ten.  The game told me her retirement pension was $1010 a day, or $7070 a week.  However, when I checked the career tab it said $7070 a day!  I figured it was a mistake, but lo and behold, every day until the day she died, she received $7070!  This hasn't happened to any of my other Sims.  Is this something special for the ghost hunters, or did my game do me a favor?

There have been a few members that have mentioned the same thing happening.  Personally, I have not played Ambitions long enough to find out if it is a Retirement bug or if it is just a Ghost Hunter Retirement bug.

No worries, happened to my firefighter too.  Said something like 10,000 a week and it ended up being 10,000 a day also.  So now I am curious if the other professions are like that too.  I hope it is not a glitch. lol, but that is alot of money for a day.

Ah well, it's a well-invested retirement fund. ;)
Really, this is a wonderful bug that could give me a steady income. If Carl's guide is correct and simbots are elders, I can retire my simbot and cash in thousands of simoleons a day for an eternity. Now that's wonderful IMO! ;D
