How do I get rid of my portofolio?

My sim has quit his fashion career but seem to be stuck with the portofolio. Can this be removed somehow?

Not that I am aware of.  It just stays in the inventory.   :)

Is it possible to put it down and use the Object -> Delete Item cheat?  Otherwise, it might just stay there forever.

You can't drag it from the inventory.

I was afraid of that.
It also does not overwrite itself I've tested, after rejoining the Fashion career.
It has been more than a year ago that Ambitions hit the chelfs, so I was hoping EA would have fixed that problem in the meantime.
