Uh oh, I blew up the firetruck!!

*sigh* My fireman is so eager he always clicks on the Woo Hoo engine as soon as he gets to work, in case it needs maintenance.  Well, one click too fast, and I clicked the "Detonate" option!  I tried to stop it, but it was too late....*BANG* *poof*  All gone.

I didn't get into any trouble from my workmates, and I finished out the day as normal.  I thought perhaps the Fire Department might buy another one, but when I went back to work next day, it's still gone.  *sigh*  

So, are we doomed to fight fires without the use of the fire truck now??

Can you exit without saving and go to your previous save point before the detonation?  If you've already saved, it's still possible to go back to the save point even before the last one.  Read these instructions for recovering a saved game on the Technical Help thread.

Oh yeah, I could go back.  But I was hoping the "Game" would fix it itself.  Is it stupid to think that the game engine would go, "No firetruck.  Must add another." ? 

I even looked in the "buydebug" section thinking I could maybe purchase one, but nope.

I bought an fire engine through beydebug, after the original disappeared literally.

Whahaha, this is hilarious! I'm really sorry for the malicious pleasure, but I wish you've got some vids of this.

But okey, let me help you a little bit. Deborah is indeed right about the buydebug, but even if you don't like to do that for some reason you could also wait until you've reached level 10 of the career. Than you will get your own firetruck to take with you to your home. Let's just hope it isn't the same firetruck as the one you've blown up.
Otherwise, place a new fire department in town and then get rid of the old one. I'm not sure if this will cause you to lose your job (I think not) but you could always try without saving.

How does your workday look like without the firetruck? You're saving people with the fire long worn on your bike now? Haha, sorry Phyrie, but I really find this whole situation funny.

Leto, the truck arrives where there is an emergency, then disappears when it is over. Oh lol and it was really slow

Ah so. No, not yet. But I believe it could only work with a firetruck that is someone's property. So that someone need to be at level 10 in the firefighter career.
