Book written 100% bug

My sim has written a book for 100% now and when he finish that he will instantly remove himself out of the chair and is instantly somewhere in the house but when I want to start a new book he still has to finish his last one, which is at 100%.
I don't understand this. Apparently it is a bug. How can I solve it?

Have you tried resetSim? How about a game restart?

Resetsim didn't work. Reloading the same game without saving didn't work either.
All I can do is relie on my backup save file, which isn't far behind what I was actually doing, and I am really glad I have one save file for towns and one for vacation now.
I leave this topic open, for in case someone else has this problem as well.

The thing is, it happend after I have send my sim on vacation to finish his book while I just before has switched his vacation home with another home with the same name.
I am saying this because it might have something to do with it.

Have you tried deleting the book  he's writing (I can't remember it but you have the option on the Sim computer to garbage the book so you can start a new one)  it might work.  Of course you'll have to rewrite the book, but its a possible fix.

Scrapped books is something that got written down in his skill journal, which I like to keep at 0.

Yep, but that didn't work.

Guys, this savefile doesn't excist anymore since I've overwritten it with my backup file which is catching up now. I thank you all for your help, but you don't have to advice me on anything that might fix this problem anymore.

Still, if you have this problem yourself, feel free to resurrect this topic. :)
