Autonomous "upset" action from non-evil, non-m.s. Sims
« on: November 17, 2012, 01:27:57 PM »
I dunno what's going on here.  My Sim has an imaginary friend turned real that he is romantic with.  They are both young adults.  Whenever they are affectionate around the rest of the family, family members stop what they're doing and queue up an interaction to "upset" the imaginary friend.  She has no other romantic interests!  What gives?

Nope, they've been together since they were teens and neither is flirty or hopelessly romantic.

To add to the weirdness, they are bugged as a couple to where the "propose marriage" option won't come up no matter what.  I am very confused.

That is strange.  Do you use mods?  Was either one recently reset by a mod ?  This sounds like what happens to Sims after one of them has died too.  You'll need to break them up completely and maybe trying over will help.

There are two couples in the household and neither one has the option to propose.  I am wondering if maybe it is glitched with the Seasons install, as I've seen a few other threads that might suggest that.  Either that or it's just one of those issues where the further you get into a legacy project, the more problems the game has with supporting things like story progression and travel ... it is unfortunate, though
