OK...I am a computer dummy. I loaded Sims 3, WA, Ambitions, and 3 stuff packs. Why is my D Drive full? When I look at the C Drive, it has tons and tons of space left. Can anybody help me? Thanks for any assistance!!

I'm no expert either, but I know that my save files, screenshots and other files are stored in my D Drive under My Documents > Electronic Arts>The Sims 3 regardless of where my actual game is. I don't know enough to recommend anything except to try delete or move any files you no longer need to perhaps an external drive. Sorry if this isn't helpful. I hope you find a solution soon.

Ok, I'm not certified in computers but I know my way around the software if you know what I mean.
To put in understanding as to why there's so much space: D drive is simply meant to keep your computer backed up. By "backed up" I mean whenever you update Windows or sometimes it's on a weekly schedule it will create a copy of your computer to save there so if you ever needed to reformat or go "back in time" before your computer started to glitch it would hold that information there.
That being said you shouldn't download/install Sims into that folder. I can't speak for all computers but from every one I've ever run into that folder was meant for the back-ups and important "do not touch" files. That being said your folder may be full because of Sims or it may be because your computer has not cleared out it's older backup saves.
So if you could do me a favor and go into your D drive from My Computer, or Computer... and tell me what you see in there. It may be unrelated to Sims and may actually just need a cleanup that just so happened to have reared it's ugly head when you loaded Sims up.
