I'm having problems registering my game on the site. I'm using a code they gave me through my email, I redeemed the codes I was sent for the costumes and ice lounge, that went fine. I'm trying to do the same thing for the game itself, but it says my serial number is wrong, but how can it be? EA sent it to me.

Same thing with me.  I don't have time to contact EA this morning, but if it's still like this tonight I'll contact them.  I think there's a way to do an online chat with them through their web page.  You might try looking for something like that in their customer support section.  I seem to remember seeing someone else post on this forum about having this issue and it was resolved via their customer support chat.

Get in touch with them, I had the same trouble when I tried to register my copy of HELS a short while back after realising I never had. The customer service lady registered it for me no trouble.

As for wrong serial numbers my base game was registered with the old EADM system, when I visited England in September I downloaded it from my games in Origin and put in the code it has listed, same as my dvd one I registered and it told me it was invalid, the system is a little faulty at times but they are usually helpful at sorting it. I admit I didn't contact them then I just used my neices dvd instead but I'm sure if I had they would have fixed it as they did my HELS one.

I emailed them but then I wasn't in a hurry, they surprised me though by answering within a very short space of time saying it was all sorted for me and my game had been registered. So if you don't have time for a phone call or live chat email works too.

I was just on sims3 site and someone said to log off and then log back in and that solved it.  So not sure if it will work for you, but I guess anything is worth a try.
Is it true that cannibals don't eat clowns because they taste funny?

That's all I had to do.  Because I used Origin, all I needed to do was make sure I wasn't logged into the TheSims3.com site or the game and then it auto updated to include my registration.

Same problem here, and I also preordered from Origin.  I have Seasons, but I don't seem to have the ice chalet stuff.  I hope I don't have to go through customer service to get it!  I don't get off work till two in the morning, and I doubt if they are around then.

I had the same issue, until I logged out and logged back in on thesims3.com - and it was fixed.

I'm having the same problem. I've tried logging out and back in but it didn't help.
But I was able to get the ice lounge and shark costume without a problem. I just can't register the game on the Sims site.
A clear conscience is usually a sign of a bad memory.

 If you are still having issues and you ordered through origin, my suggestion is to do the following.

Log out of game and exit out.
Log out of website and close browser.
Log out of Origin and exit.

Restart only the browser, hit f5, sign in using your account, go to your My Page and hit f5 again to see if it shows up.  At one point, it didn't show up on my My Page that I was registered but another friend of mine could see that I was.

Still not showing up, but I did notice that on the Recent Activity on my wall that it shows I registered Seasons. So maybe the icon will show up sometime.

For me I have to wait because my payment was authorized, but EA hasn't gotten the payment yet. So the EA help chat adviser said to wait 3 to 5 business days then try to redeem the code again so I can register my game.

Same problem for me. I was able to download the lounge, the costumes and the wall decals. It will not show up on My Page and when I input the code it says invalid.

I have done the log in, log out do a dance and slaughter a chicken. Hopefully my ticket gets helped soon. I have no option to open a chat with a customer service rep like I have in the past when I had issues with Showtime.

Because of Seasons not showing up,  I can't post greeting card pictures or the custom memories. It tells me to register. I can do everything else Seasons related. I am just a little bummed because my Sims family took pictures in the greeting card booth but they just look like default empty frames.

Addendum: I just noticed it shows I registered Seasons yesterday. It also shows i registered Pets, which is funny since I have had Pets since it released last year.

I had problem registering it this morning (after downloading it at 6am) but after I just checked it shows as registered on my page (maybe it got registered while downloading from Origin?)

Buying the game from Origin as a download seems to have made the game automatically registered with TS3.com.   That's why everyone is having issues registering because it already is.   The problem is between Origin and TS3.com talking to each other so that it shows that you have it on your "My Page".
