More questions from the new one ;)
« on: November 18, 2009, 12:15:49 AM »
I've noticed that it takes Sims an *awwwfullly* long time to do simple tasks. So, for instance, if I wake my Sims up at 4:00am and their carpool arrives at 7:00, they *still* don't have time to eat breakfast, take a bath and do something "fun" to get them into a good mood. So they end up leaving for work feeling bad already, which only compounds the problem.

Is there any way to speed up their movements while at the same time keeping everything at a normal speed?

Thanks!

I always have my sims shower or bathe the night before to help cut down on time in the morning getting ready.  You can also have your sim cook up a "group" breakfast meal on a day off and then only eat the left-overs for the workdays.  If you have their fun meter most of the way up the night before, then you only have to top it off the morning of work.  You can also have them goof-off at work and that will bring up their fun meter as well, then switch to "work hard" when the fun is all the way fulfilled.  Welcome to the forum!

Hi viola!

There's not a way to speed up their movements, unfortunately.  But wildredchild has some great time-saving tips there.  The leftovers don't have to be a breakfast meal, either.  Grilled cheese works just fine the next morning!  If you do the leftovers and shower the night before, you should have plenty of time to get ready for work.

Also, I'd appreciate it if you'd make your topic subject more specific to your questions.  That way, others can look through all of the topics and find the specific things they're looking for.  For example, the title of this one could have been "No Time in the Morning" or "How Can I Speed Up Getting Ready for Work."

Thanks much!
