Same sex pregnancy mod

Hi! I've been using the same sex pregnancy mod by werismyki (http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=388170) and it has worked well for me, or so I thought, but then I relaized that it messed up pets, leaving them without moodlets. I have NO idea how, since the mod isn't about pets (I have no idea how mods work, I admit) but as soon as I removed it, it worked again, so... has to be that, right? ANyway, it's not been updated for a long while, and I was wondering if anyone knows of another mod doing the same thing (lets male/male or female/female couples have babies "naturally" so to speak)... it would be greatly appriciated!

Go to NRaas, you can have same sex partnerships without glitches. My sim was bisexual and had kids with both sexes. My pets are straight.

As MoMoll mentioned, Twallan's mod StoryProgression allows same sex pregnancies without glitches as well as a lot of other options for your town.  You can find the mod here.

Thank you so much, everybody, but I have a few follow up questions... I downloaded Twallan's mod StoryProgression and it seems to be in place and working, but I can't get the "test subjects" I created to "Try for baby"? The same sex pregnancy option is on "true" and such, but it dosen't seem to be happening... true, I've not played them for long, since they are only "test subjects", only for about 3 sims-days... should I just keep trying?

I only have the "basic mod" do I need to install more? I also play the game in Swedish (since I am Swedish... duh...) but that didn't affect the old mod I was using.

 in the old mod it was only possible to have same sex partners "try for baby" when they were standing up, but I've tried to get that option in... ummm.. every "position" i could think of, so to speak.. .

Also: do you need male pregnancy clothes with this one? Any recommendations, in that case?

If you're using males did you remember to set "allow Male Pregnancy" to true as well?

Yeah, every setting I found already was on "true"... BUT problem is solved! I installed the whohoo-one that was recommended and I could immideatly try for baby an knocked one of the test subjects up... AND discovered that yes, you need male pregnancy clothes or there will just be a head walking around... My last question about recommendations for male preg outfits still stands, though... I still have the one's I used to use, so I'm just gonna copy those in for now...

LOL Thank you for the cookies and I'm glad it worked.  I'm not as familiar with these mods as some of our other members.   Welcome to the forum and yes you'll find that we're usually understanding about everything.

I was a vagrant of this forum for awhile; but, realised it's the best one for simmers and joined. People here are not rude, and the moderators keep everyone in line. I never go to the EA forum, due to some off comments. People here are simmers who love the game and are friendly.

If you need more help on the mods you downloaded, ask your questions at NRaas's Chatterbox. Those who made these mods (and understand them more), can give better responses.
