This mansion was requested by CandyHeartedSim and I'm very flattered that she asked me to build it for her. I hope everyone else enjoys it, too.
The ground floor houses the main living area which includes foyer, study (with laptop, bookcase, and chess table), formal dining room, eat in kitchen, living room, gym, powder/bath/laundry room, and rec room (with big screen TV, video game console, foosball table, all LN instruments, bar, and stereo).
The second floor landing is open to the foyer below. There are four bedroom suites (master, guest, nursery, child), each with a private bathroom. The master suite and guest suite have fireplaces and cozy sitting areas. The nursery suite is outfitted with 3 cribs and 3 potties in case your sims should have triplets. The child suite has 2 twin beds so your young sims can share a room or invite friends for a sleep over party. There is also an outdoor balcony with telescope that overlooks the back yard.
The third floor also houses four bedroom suites (guest, teen x2, child). The teen and child suites all have 2 double beds. Teen suites also include 2 desks and a stereo. The common area on this floor serves as a studio for your artistically inclined sims. It includes a sculpting station, a drafting table, and an inventor's bench. The third floor balcony overlooks the back yard and holds two easels so painters can draw their inspiration from the great outdoors.
The basement houses a nectar cellar with 2 nectar makers and several nectar racks. There is a small seating area so your sim can relax while their nectar machines work. The most striking feature is a wall of windows that open onto the pool - allowing sims in the nectar cellar to watch people swim and allow swimmers to watch the nectar maker at work.
The back yard features an in ground pool, a hot tub, a patio for lounging or entertaining, a fully equipped playground for sims who are young or young at heart, and a zen garden for your budding martial artist. A small pond graces the front yard and has a place for your sims to sit and relax. A two car garage (cars not included) completes this elegant retreat.
Rosewood 2.0 replaces the first version of this build I posted. I found a pathing problem and corrected it. I also finished upgrading all appliances and fixtures. The property has not been fully play tested so if you find a problem, please let me know so I can fix it.
