I am confused. Is there a way to do a spell check here?
I haven't seen any button to use to do a spell check. I did a search but after five pages I gave up. I am not sure if there is an automatic one or a set one for different types of browsers (I have IE) or what.
I have a dictionary beside me to double check spelling when I am not sure of a word, but I am sure I miss one here and there.
The biggest problems I have are switching a letter, such as form and from, which are not caught by a spell check; those I generally catch by my proofreading a couple (or three) of times.
My grammer is not the best, but I do try to get it correct ( I still think it was unfair for the instructor to deduct points in a research paper for independent clauses; how could I stop using them in a paper if I didn't know what one was?).
Which raises a question I have. Are there times when you ask a question yet do not use a question mark? I am hoping that there is a grammer "policeperson" here who can answer that for me.
And if anyone is wondering how I could go through school without learning the grammer rules, my sister and I traded classes, she took my English and I took her History. We were eventurally caught.
