How can I put tents onto a lot?

I'm working on an 'urban legends' wooded camping site, but can't find how to put tents on it. I can find the small tent but can't work out if I can put them on the lot ready put up, like they are in the egypt base camp. I'll have to rethink if I can't. I just thought it would be good because then a sim could sleep there, eat at the fire pit, and use the discrete bathroom. But I suppose I could create a small 'youth hostel' type building. Maybe that would be better. Maybe there's a CC 'Jason' mask I could download? (joke   ;) )

Get them from buydebug. Move a sim in and have them set up the tent.

Sorry Pam.

Thanks for replying Sportsfan. What do you mean by 'move a sim in'? It's a community lot. I don't want a sim to live there. Can I just place a tent on the ground and have them set it up? I wanted to group the tents round a fire pit.  BTW  is it possible to set the fire pits in a dip in the ground so it looks more like a camp fire? Will the sims still be able to use it?

I think he means that you could change the lot to residential, move in a sim, set up the tents, move the sim out and change lot back to community.

I do that or I use the Sim I'm currently playing. I place the amount of tents I want to use around the campground, send my Sim over there and use them to set up the tents.

I put the tent on the lot using edit town, and my sim couldn't interact with it. If I give her a tent and put it on the lot can she just leave it there, and it she does, will other sims be able to use it?
