Man, I am really starting to get upset at EA story progression *permanently* deleting my Sims…  The mass-baby culling in my recent attempt to build a clan was bad enough, but now one of my favorite adults has been permanently deleted from Moonlight Falls for absolutely no reason.  There are currently 7 or 8 empty houses in my Moonlight Falls and so few people, I have to search for days just to find a Sim to throw an elixir on.  And yet, when I moved this Sim and her two kids out of my active household into a house of their own, the game completely erased them after only a few Sim days.  Why did it kill my Sims when my town is half empty?  And now I have also just discovered that almost half a dozen households in town have moved to a different house for no discernible reason that I can see - The Goths move to a *smaller* house and the baby one of them had with my main Sim went missing after only one Sim day.

To add to the problem, I slowly realized that several playable ghosts my main Sim had been building friendships with haven't stayed on his relationship panel.  (The missing Sim and one of her children were ghosts and figuring out what happened was all the harder for that.)  Yet, the "acquaintance" icon was over their houses in map view and when he would go and talk to them, they would reappear on the panel and the healthily friend status would show.  This is really frustrating and seems like a bug because even though they are 24 hour Sims that you can have proper relationships with, you can't call them up and invite them over - you have to physically track them down or go to their house.  And if you are trying to assess your friends/relations, ghost are missing from the panel - do they even count if you are trying to reach a required friend total?

Do you know if the whole ghost/relationship panel is *supposed* to work like that or if it's a bug?  Has anyone else noticed story progression becoming noticeably more aggressive since installing Supernatural?  Is your town populating?  I'm afraid to leave anyone unattended for a minute in fear that I will lose them forever!!!

I have also noticed ghost acquaintances/friends disappearing from the relationship panel, and they show up in map view. It seems like a bug to me, but I just checked and they do count as friends, at least in the Charisma journal.

The problem with the ghosts has nothing to do with Supernatural I think. I recently moved out some playable ghosts and noticed they went missing from relationship panel and Supernatural was not out yet then. My sims could visit the ghosts houses and go to community lot with them though.

Families tend to move houses if there are not enough beds in the old house. For example in SV Altos will move if Holly or her mom will have a baby. I'm not very impressed about EA story progression either, it mostly maintains status quo in my game. Once in a blue moon a family moves out of town and new family may move in. Loads of old people, very few babies, schoolmates are all paper boys or girls or babysitters.

Edit: I haven't played the new neighborhood yet, my experiences are based on old neighborhoods where I've been playing challenges of varying lengths

I've never had ghosts show in the relationship panel, so I don't think that issue has anything to do with Supernatural.  In the "Political Traiter" Challenge, my political Sim socialized with a lot of ghosts, none of which ever showed in the relationship panel, and that was two years ago.  Has anyone ever had ghosts remain in the relationship panel?

I've had playable ghosts within the household remain in the relationship panel. Though my sim was co-workers with ghost Violet Slymer, and Violet only sometimes appeared in the relationship panel in spite of being fully playable.

I'm sorry I missed this one when it was first posted.  The thing with the Sims moving around in town is normal Story Progression.  Ever since a patch way back at the beginning when Sims 3 was released, Story Progression has done a better job.  It also happens to include moving Sims around and even out of town.  My towns continue to be populated with new Sims coming to town.

I don't believe the ghost issue is a bug, either.  Ghosts don't show up in the relationship panel unless your Sim is interacting with the ghost.  I think it's been this way since the beginning.

Lastly, because this issue is not about actual Supernatural game play, I'm moving it to the Miscellaneous Help board.

And that's why I have NRaas Story Progression :P EA's was... don't know a proper word XD I hated it so much I used to create and populate the town manually, and then play a little with every family (just a couple of sim hours) to have them "saved" from story progressión

I am having the same issues..The wife died and got the quest for the science lab, but the relationship was fiancee and not wife..No action for a wedding nor can they even fall in love  :'(  Thank you

Try making them break up and then make them fall in love again, that should fix the problem. No idea why is that caused, but that's the only solution I know

In my game, my ghost friends will only show up in relationship panel when they appear. It stays after the ghost became part of the family.
