In the sims 3 FAST LANE STUFF! one of my sims accidentally drowned, but before the grim reaper could take him, I accidentally used one of my other sims to call him over instead of a different sim! and now when I try to pick up the grave in buy/build mode or sell it it just says "Cannot pick up an object in use by the grim reaper" (who isn't even there any more by the way) and when I try and edit town to get the ghost out of the house a message appears saying "You cannot enter edit town mode when someone in your household is dying," and now this ghost is stuck out in front of the library and i can't interact with him at all, and he has two NPC's (Sandi French and River McIrish) stuck around him, but I can still interact with these two, they just can't go anywhere. And when I just tried using my other sims to pick up the grave it didn't work! I'm completely baffled by this conundrum! I don't know what to do! HELP! (The other sim that didn't get called over who died at the same time as my sim, in the same way in the same pool, left and went into his grave, and i was able to pick it up with no trouble at all which just makes this even more annoying for me)
