Timeline Glitch

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right spot. I tried to run a search for it but have no idea what to search for specifically. 

I went in to play my Legacy family last night, and the Sims time read Monday. So I get them all ready for school and work, wait for the car pool and bus and.... nothing. According to the game, it's still Sunday. They treated Monday exactly as they would a Sunday, and when Tuesday came around it acted like a Monday and they went off to school and work as scheduled.

It's not a major glitch (thank goodness) and is something I can work past if need be, but I'm curious as to what might have caused it and whether there's a fix for it. I'm updated to the latest patch, but I only have Pets, Generations and Supernatural EPs.

Did the game say it was Monday and they didn't go?  Is it possible that you had a graduation over the weekend?

Hi Rica. The game said it was a Monday but the work car pool and the school bus never came, no notifications popped up and when I tried to send the family to work/school it said to come back in so many hours, ie the next day. It seems to have corrected itself now though so I'm not sure what caused it. Worried me a bit because one of my sims was due a promotion and I was scared it would affect his work performance but the game seemed to think it was a Sunday so no harm done. Just very bizarre.

As Rica says a teen aging up to young adult brings on the graduation which will mess up the timeline like that.

This happed to me the first time I had a graduation and didn't realise all my household get the whole day off even though the graduation was on the Sunday.  I missed my opportunity as it had a short time restriction and my astronaut only works Mondays...

I have also played a game with the school bus and the car pool never came again after a graduation and it was a real pain in the whatnot to get them to work and school everyday on time.
