Never-Ending Zombies?

I have tried everything: downloading the patch that was supposed to fix it, using cheats to delete them, using cheats to stop them from spawning at all... nothing works! I have zombies in my backyard all the time. It's annoying, not to mention the fact that my Sims are spending a fortune on fencing to save all of their plants from a never-ending zombie assault. And it's not even a 'they only come at night', thing. It's literally all the time! Any ideas?

I changed the lunar cycle to only one phase, not the full moon obviously, and after that I have never seen any of those disgusting creatures again, and for that I'm very grateful, I can tell you.

I hope that you can fix your zombie issue too somehow, and if you do, please come back here and tell us about it. It's all the experiences of troubleshooting, successful or not, that builds the ever growing knowledgebase of this forum.
