A Tale of Two Supernaturals
« on: October 28, 2012, 03:25:32 PM »
Hello all! This isn't a challenge or anything like that. I just wanted to tell a tale of my two Supernatural Sims whom I have become very fond of. This thread documents their story.

------------------------------

Chapter 1
Meet the Pinkwhistles!

Flora: Are you sure this house will be big enough?
Crow: Positive. It’s got two bedrooms!
Flora: But I want five children. Surely it’s not big enough for five.
Crow: We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it. Let’s just unpack.

Flora sighed but then a smile crept across her face. That dear husband of hers, always so level-headed.

The house was empty; spare some kitchen counters and a shower and toilet in the bathroom. But it was a nice family home and Flora knew that she’d grow to love it.

Some kindly neighbours came to greet them and welcome them to the neighbourhood. Flora took this as the perfect opportunity to play some fairy pranks!

Flora: It’s magic dust. It’ll make you eternally happy.
Marty Keaton: Woah, that sounds fantastic!

Marty Keaton: My head’s on fire!

Flora: Teehee

Then she decided to get up to more mischief. And this time it was of the frosty sort.

Both neighbours left in a temper. Crow sighed at his funny little wife. She was always up to mischief.

They headed to the park, just as the sun was starting to set. He challenged Flora to a swinging contest.

Crow: I can go higher than you. Weeeeeeee!

Flora: No way! Watch this! Weeeeeeeeeeeee!
Crow: No I can... are you ok?
Flora: I feel sick...

Flora: *bleeeeeh!*
Crow: Um, darling?
Flora: I’m ok...

When they arrived home, Flora discovered the cause of her sickness. She was pregnant!

She wanted to give Crow the big news. But he was out.

Chapter 2
Flora

He’s been out an hour now. Surely his hunt is over now?
Crow: Flora! Lock the doors, it’s a Full moon!
The zombies. He knows I’m terrified of them.
Crow: Flora? You ok, honey?
Flora: Just fine. And I have big news!
Crow: Tell me!
Flora: I’m pregnant!
Crow: Oh wow! I’m going to be a Daddy! Come here.
Flora: You’ll make sure they’re safe, right?
Crow: Of course. I’ll always protect them. And you.

Of course it wasn’t long until the time came. We decided that the hospital would be the best option for the birth, but the midwife was rather startled when our darling came into the world.

Meet our Clover, a little fairy.

But we were low on funds. Crow did his best to find precious metals when out on his hunts, but we were still struggling. We both had to go out to work and we needed a nanny to look after Clover long-term. So I wrote an advert.

Two days later, a lady dressed in black turned up on our doorstep.

Agnes Crumplebottom: The name is Agnes.  I’m here about your ad.
Flora: I have to tell you that we have no means of payment.
Agnes: Dynasty founder?
Flora: No, I’m afraid not.
Agnes: *punches air* I’ll get started now, shall I?
Flora: You want the job?
Agnes: Yes! I wanted freedom from Dynasties and this is it! No rules, no restrictions, I can do what I want!

Before I could utter another word, Agnes bustled past me into the house. She looked around at our few objects and shook her head.
Agnes: This will never do. Right, here are the keys to my car. Sell it. You should get a fair price for it.
So I followed her commands. And the salesman gave me a great price on it and I pocketed the cash.
The minute I entered the house, Agnes took the cash from my pocket and dashed out the door, saying something about new furniture.
When Agnes returned, she was driving a pickup truck and was wearing a glamorous new outfit.

Flora: Wow, Agnes, you look great!
Agnes: And don’t I know it! Anyway, I need to out the house. I’m doing some decoration.
Flora: Decoration?
Agnes: Yes. Now out!
