Honor Roll question

Okay i'm trying the DecaDynasty but I keep running into problems with this.

My first go failed because I didn't get on the honor roll in elementary school, this time I felt sure it would be okay, she did have 3 days of A grades but one was friday then monday and tuesday. She didn't get on the honor roll and now it's her birthday so once more it seems I failed, shame as I was really enjoying myself with this game.

So my question is basically is the weekend messing this up for me or is it a glitch? I had a peek at the GameplayData package and it says

Number of consecutive days a Sim must have an 'A' to get the Honor Roll buff

which is 3 so I can only assume it resets on the weekend, can anybody confirm this?

Apologies if I posted this in the wrong section but it seems more a miscellaneous question than a specific dynasty related thing.

You could ask for permission to go ahead on the Townie Decadynasty Challenge Board, since 3 days is usually good enough to get on the honor roll. If it's denied, get one of your adults up to level 5 in logic and do some tutoring before the child starts school.

Thanks MarianT, the logic idea is a good one, her dad has a logic related lifetime wish so even better.

I guess I could ask but I already feel it was a fail and i'd like to feel I did it properly and not because I got a free pass.

I'll just have to work my dates out a bit better so the weekend doesn't get in the way.
