So with the new update and release of Supernatural it seems my downloads insist on making my life miserable. I cannot for the love of god install any of the more recent store releases, that lovely (sarcasm) "Installation Failed: Please Make Sure Your Game Has the Latest Updates and Try Again" error keeps popping up. Of course, my game is patched up-to-date completely, I have all the SPs and EPs and all of them are up to date. I also did a clean reinstall and made my custom content scarce, and the issue persists. I have to mention that older store items still work and other custom content in sims3pack works just fine, it's just the newer store ones.
I tried bypassing the launcher installation and still nothing. Installing them via Multi Installer borks my game and it gets stuck on the black screen, without even getting to the intro, Merlin doesn't seem to work with the newer sets, Postal doesn't work at all, 3Viewer doesn't do the job, and many of the other sims3pack editors/extractors are no longer updated or don't work at all or the links are dead and so on, at least those that I were able to find.
I am at my wits limit, any sort of help or suggestion would be much appreciated. My game seems so empty and depressing without the lovely store sets... D: Thank you for your patience <3
