Mine too Leto, I specifically put my sims car in the inventory to drive it on vacation, but they still took the motorbike, I have only had one sim use her sports car and that was in Egypt.  That was funny looking.

Haha, that should really look funny! Wonder what happens if you could run out of gas in the middle of nowhere. Let's just walk home people, the whole dessert long! Whaha! By the way, that isn't possible though, even if you would not die by lack of water and food. The point is that you will walk in circles, because your left food steps a little les as far as your right foot, or vica versa. But the result is the same: on long distances, and I mean very long distances, like a return ticked desert, you will definatly walk in circles.

But that will maby be a little to much of topic. Pam, how did you force your sims to drive in cars in foreign country's? Or was it just the only transport agent your sims got at that moment?

I didn't have to force them.  They just did it.  It's possible I had made the car the "preferred vehicle" as I normally do as habit.

It takes them about 1/2 the time to shower and they still get squeaky clean.  Big thumbs up for that!
And they get a good moodlet!

If your eco sim rides in a car with someone, they get the "carpooling" moodlet.

The expensive dishwasher also gives the "saving water" moodlet, vs. the sink. Yeah, I make my sims do dishes.

Gotta remember the composting one, I got so used to just deleting old plants in buy mode over the last year.

I'm not especially eco friendly in real life, but I'm LOVING this new trait in the Sims!  So many great moodlets for doing things you would probably normally do.

If the bike has a higher speed than the car, then the sims will probably use the bike instead of the car.

Even though they get a bad moodlet from it? Actually, I got the feeling that that is indeed the point, although it doesn't make sense to me.

Welcome to the Forum, Tiax!

Ok, to clarify a little with Tiax and Leto...  Eco-Friendly Sims get a negative moodlet from riding in a taxi or driving a car alone because it's a waste of resources.  They get a positive moodlet from riding a bicycle, and they get no moodlet either way from riding the motorcycle.  The Sim will use which ever vehicle that you designate as the "preferred" vehicle.  They don't necessarily use speed as the criteria for deciding which vehicle they use if they don't have a designated preferred vehicle.

Because I don't know the word designated, you mean the vehicle they own? The ones you have tell that are the property of a particular sim?

I mean that a Sim can choose a vehicle as his preferred vehicle.  You just click on the vehicle and choose "Make Preferred Vehicle" and that will be the one the Sim uses all the time.
