Transferring Sims 3 Windows Expansions to MAC

Hello, I am new to this forum, and need some help obviously. My current situation is that I me and my brother own a Sims 3 disk, and I was able to install and play it on my MAC. My brother then bought all the other expansions via Origin. Until EA comes out with Origin for MAC I'm a little screwed. I realize I could make a separate windows partition, but I rather save space on the windows partition. Now that I have explained my situation, is there anyway I could take the expansions from another Windows laptop, transfer it to my MAC, install, and play it smoothly? Thanks for the help in advance

I don't think so. . .I also play on a Mac laptop, or used to (it kept over-heating, so I transferred my saved games to my older PC desktop), and I had issues with Origin because they don't support Macs.  I had to buy each game/expansion in a physical format so that it could be correctly installed.  I don't know of any way to transfer an Origin-purchased download from a PC to a Mac (I am also a desktop support person in real life, so I know a few things about data/software transfer).

Instead of partitioning your hard drive, have you considered a VM?

As a PC and Mac user, I'm afraid you're right there is nothing that can really be done if you bought them as PC download.  However in the future know that if you buy the Mac downloads like the ones from game tree, you can then register the items and then download to your PCs via origin.   You can miss out on exclusive content but you can now play on both platforms.
