Your Task:
The Olympics are here, they are beginning, the time for the world to join together in sport is upon us. What better way than to celebrate by creating the ultimate Sporting Venue for our Sims? Which sport is up to you, but you have to capture the spirit of the Olympic Dream!

Specifications:

• Lot Type: Community
• Number of Bed Spaces: Not Applicable
• Budget: $120,000
• Lot Size: 50x50 or over.
• Other: Athletic Equipment, Sporting Atmosphere.

Optional Specifications:

• Grandstands, Podiums, Food Courts, Olympic Village Area etc.

Current Status: Up-Coming

Here we are at the Olympics 2012. Four Leaf Clover has four jumping courses for level 5 and up. Great for competitions. My sims and her horse Sasha are hoping to win some medals for our Country.

In the Venue building there is a large open room. There is a sitting area with a cozy fireplace to unwind after a competition. There is also a reading area, a snack area, a bar with tables and stools. There is two 3pc washrooms to tidy up after working out in the fitness room.

Upstairs, there are more tables and bar stools plus a bar and a stereo for dancing the rest of the night away. On the balcony there are comfy chairs to watch the competitions and in the evening to watch the moon come up and the stars sparkle in the sky.

Outside, on the grounds there are four jumping courses , benches for the fans to watch the competitions and an area for your horse to drink water and eat plus salt licks in case there's a need after a tough competition.

Lot type: Community Lot.
Lot size: 60 x 60.
Suggested placement: 15 Summer Hill Court, Sunset Valley.
Price: $114,179.

Contains: World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Outdoor Living Stuff, and Showtime.

The aquatics centre for the 2012 Sunset Valley Olympics is a striking example of modern design. Surrounded by tropical gardens, the venue's central focus is an olympic size swimming pool. Spectators can stop by the on-site coffee shop and enjoy this tranquil oasis, however once the competition begins all eyes will be on the athletes. Afterwards, the winners will take their place on the podium to receive their medals.

"Thank you to everyone who voted! This contest was really fun. I watched a lot of the swimming competitions during the olympics, and so when I saw the contest I knew which venue I would build! The budget was quite challenging for this one. I was envisioning an entire olympic village complex, but I had to scale it back to just an aquatic centre. It was surprising that only Ladybug53 and I entered this one. Congratulations to her and her fantastic equestrian centre! Thanks again to everyone who voted, and to samoht04 and Lilygirl for hosting these great building contests!"
