Horse's needs decreasing too fast (bug?)

Hi!

My Sim's horse horse keeps getting thirsty and dirty all the time, at the point that my Sim has to take care of it three times a day! I reset the horse and everything goes back to normal for 1 or 2 days, but then it starts again.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a bug?
