Doubt regarding the installation of packs
« on: September 06, 2012, 11:16:41 AM »
Hey guys. I am new to this forum. I have installed sims 3 with World Adventures, Pets and Supernatural in my system.
My doubt is that whether I can play with current expansion packs and then after about 2-3 days of playing I save the game and after that I install Generations and Ambitions. So would I be able to continue with my save game and access Generations and Ambitions content in the saved game?

You can install an Expansion at any point in a game. If you have a current game it is advised to back-up your game as sometimes the installation of Expansions, Stuff Packs or Patches can cause damage. Although it is rare for you to suffer much damage. All the new content you have installed will also be available in your current saved game.

I'm also moving this to the Technical Help Board as it is more appropriate there.
