Sim won't go to work no matter what I do
« on: August 19, 2012, 05:43:05 AM »
I've tried resetting her, going to work in her career outfit, and deleting the building and creating a new one in a new lot as well as the old one. I just don't get it. I'm trying to get her in the film career but so far it looks like a worthless endeavor.

And thanks!

What do you mean she won't go to work? Does she complain about not being able to, like something's on her way, or does she do anything else?

Do you mean that the icon to go to work appears (top left corner) then disappears in a flash? I had a similar problem and managed to solve it. Here's the link: http://www.carls-sims-3-guide.com/forum/index.php/topic,10253.msg223538.html#msg223538
But if you're not bothered, this is what I said:
... That problem has occurred to me heaps of times. When the carpool comes, change the sim into their career outfit, then click go to work and it works! ... Also, this glitch can also happen to male sims, not just female.

Hope this helps!

I've never had this so I can't be of much help, but... have you checked if this happens to all your sims or just her? it could be just her that's bugged.

This may be a silly suggestion, but when you send her to work, how is her mood? Once, I had a Sim who wouldn't go to work. I later realized it was because he was stressed. So maybe either her mood is too low or she's stressed.
Or it could be just she's stressed.
Hope you figure it out. :)
