In CAS---Possible to retain relationships of former wives?

I recently added Pets and with the addition of horses (which is incredible!) I want to make a Sims version of Bonanza, the TV show. But I would like to have each one of Ben's deceased wives show up in the family tree and be noted as the mother of the corresponding son. Is this possible?

You could do that, but the dead wives would only show up in the sons' family trees, and not in Ben's.

*EDIT*: Also, it's not possible for Ben to be the father of sons through multiple wives if you're just doing it through CAS. I'm afraid you need a mod for that.

Thanks for replying. I was afraid it wouldn't be that simple. And I really dislike having to start off a game with sims dying---will have to re-think this one.
