Pink Diamond in Twinbrook?

Where can I find a pink diamond gem in Twinbrook to make a simbot? I was reading other posts and they said to mine, but mining dosen't count as collecting and I just need that gem to get the heart shape cut and I do not have World Adventures.

I want to know that, too! I found it in one of the neighbours garbage can but it would be nice to know where the spawn places for pink and rainbow diamonds in Twinbrook are.

I've found pink diamonds in two places, one is next to the amphitheater, another one is in the small park behind the cheap diner. They don't spawn very often, though, you have to keep checking every day.

Edited to add:

Here are pictures to clarify the locations

Also watch the Consignment Shop. I poked in there and found a pre-cut Heart Shaped Pink Diamond for sale.

When my inventor had the opportunity for the simbot, the game was spawning a pink diamond each day near the clinic

I found them there as well but very expensive - around 8,000 Simoleon mark.  I seem to only find them there when I can't afford them though.  Now I can afford it they are never there!  LOL!

Thanks for the photos IgnorantBliss.  I'll keep my eyes open.  I know I can find special /rare seeds at the amphitheater, never found pink diamond.  I'll keep looking.  TwinBrooks version of the Simhenge/Stonehenge

I found one beside the diner too - when I had the opportunity involving bringing a pink diamond to the science lab, the diamond's location was tagged in map view, like in WA. The only problem is, I wanted to get two or three at that point, because I need to make three robots, but only one was tagged, so I assume there was only one in the whole town at that point.

It might pay to just be patient when the tags appear for pink diamonds.  When another one is spawned, I would imagine a new tag will appear on the map.  That's how it works with gems and metals in World Adventures.

Yeah that's true - with the LTW create three monsters, it might be better to wait until three pink diamonds are visible on the map, and collect them all at once, before making the first simbot. Or maybe, if you collect them as the appear, but don't actually take them to the science lab until you have three? That way, you'd still have the opportunity, so new ones would get tagged. At least, that works for WA. I wish I'd thought of that before I made my simbot, I'll just have to keep checking beside the diner and amphitheatre now until I find two more  ::)

Haven't tried nor do I care. I'm not making a simbot for a while now.

How so? I've never played too much with martial arts :D I was like level 5 when my game got bugged and had to reinstall... then I got too frustrated to go on lol. Might give it a try again.

If you train martial arts high enough , preferably maxed, you can break space rocks on the those twin brick breaking board things you buy at China. After you have broken about 250 (from what I remember) of any type of board above the easiest ones, you start to get gems while breaking space rocks. I get soul stones, tiberium and many pink diamonds that way really easily and efficiently. Worth a try in my opinion.

Definitely agree! The rate you get a Rainbow gem or Pink Diamond is the same as the rate you get a Turquoise or Topaz - basically much greater success of gems than just waiting for one or two spawns over several days. Of course, your sim would have to be high level martial arts (level 10 actually isn't required; I had a sim break a space rock and get a gem at level 7) and have broken 150 (I remember it as 150... but maybe 250 is right) boards of oak or harder material. Then you can break space rocks for gems.
Most optimal is a sim with LTRs like Steel Bladder and Hardly Hungry, and a sim who has done strength work-out for at least 60hrs so they won't ever get exhausted. You can just have the sim break space rocks all day and take breaks for needs, and then get back to work again. You'll get a lot of valuable gems that way.  :)
Myself, I think finding Pink Diamonds out in the wild is too much trouble when most of my sim families have at least 1 Martial Arts master in the house. You don't have to worry about when and where the gem spawns, getting there quickly, collecting it and then going home again. You just have to keep breaking those rocks.
Now, if only the board breaker also could give you metals and I'd never have to worry about those spawns again.  :-\
