Drinks Give No Energy

I have Sims 3 World Adventures and High-End Loft Stuff. I can't wait till I can get Ambitions lol.

Well anyway my problem is when I have my sims make a drink from the beverage makers they don't get any energy. I tried both of them and neither one gives my sims any energy when drinking. Any tips/fixes?

Welcome to the Forum, subzero22!

I don't know that drinks are supposed to give your Sim more energy.  However, they do give your Sim a Sugar Rush moodlet.

Ya it does seem to give them the sugar rush. But when you look at the items it says Energy +3 and the second one gives Energy +4

Would it be maybe that rather than actually giving them extra energy, their energy bar might go down slower when they drink it?
