Long Life wish doing nothing.

My Sim wished for long life and her days to age never changed. She has 363 days to become an adult, after the wish she had the same amount of days.

Well, I think this thread would be more appropriate in the Showtime board as opposed to General Discussion.

Have you already wished for long life with that Sim? If you've already wished for Long Life once with that Sim, you won't be able to wish for Long Life again.

Maybe it is a bug that happens when you have the length of life for your Sim set to such a long one.

Nope I've never used it, it was the first time I've used it on any Sim.

I saw another thread where the person had a sim living long past their numbered days. That was because that sim was athletic though..
I think it may be the same here, your sim will live past your expiration date but the number itself will not change because of that.
