Are ALL store set items listed individually?

Does any one know if ALL items in a set are listed individually?
To explain a bit further.

I used to buy sets all the time and then I found there were always items in my game that I never used.

I've never used the swim fins, the grass skirt or the matching top....yet they sit there using up space in my game.

I know you can go through the individual listings and download (from sets you've purchased) just the items you want, but is every little item in a set listed separately?

I figure it would solve two problems. I wouldn't have items I never use taking up space and my townies would never show up in things like swim fins again.

I have removed the fins by going to the launcher/installed items and looking for them. Then, check the box and uninstall.

No, they are not always listed separately, and to make it worse the game doesn't always recognize that you own an item from a set, so if it is on a daily deal it may not show up as owned.  I used to regularly buy their compilations and when I go to my downloads file they are listed as compilations, not the individual items in each one.  This wound up with me buying that swing twice, once in a compilation and once separately.

They may not always be listed individually on the store but they are listed individually through the dashboard downloader.  Or even better as Jude suggested, you can download a set and most of it's items are individual under the installed section of your launcher so you could go through the launcher list and get rid of whatever you don't want to be there.   I suggest doing it on the all tab because for some reason certain items don't show up in the other categories.
