Chateau de Landgrabb?
« on: April 22, 2012, 12:05:28 AM »
I have wondered around in France multiple times but have never really gotten far with Chateau de Landgrab. I have a few questions:

-How long did it take you to filly be able to get through the Chateau?
-Approximately, how many different adventures did you have to run through?
-What kind of adventures did you have to run through?

Please don't give too much away. I'm just wondering what the Chateau is like. I've never been able to get anywhere with the Chateau. Feel free to answer the above questions and let me know any other info you deem worthy to share.

Thank you! :)

I don't know how many adventures I did, but I did alot. The Chateau is very big with lots of rooms, in a game I was playing, I thought I'd finished exploring all of the Chateau and then I found some stairs which leaded to another floor! Most of the doors are locked and you would need to find a way to unlock them! I found some good relics in there aswell.

I think there are about 5 adventures in total that take you to the Chateau including one from china.  There was one or two really easy ones and the others required some thought.

Also, I'm moving this thread to the World Adventures board.

Whenever you do get around to doing the Chateau, make sure to take some "junk" relics with you (like the fossilized fruits and vegetables).

They can come in very handy.

Just elaborating on what shirin said its a good idea to bring junk relics because then on the traps/switches that require a relic on them to proceed you can swap the expensive relic originally there with a cheap one this way making quite a bit of money.

My fist time through Chateau de Landgrabb I cheated like mad too. I just deleted any traps I couldn't disarm and even resorted to replacing the locked doors with new unlocked doors and sometimes even putting in doors where there weren't any before.

I just recently finished my first honest run through and I have to say the hardest part was finding the entrance to the basement. It's the last place you'd ever expect.

I think the best way to complete the chateau is to take missions from the adventure board. Otherwise you will find your self blocked from several rooms and unable to finish. By following the missions you can explore it all in 2 game weeks. This goes for most large tombs, like the dragon cave in china.
