She will not go to work? How do I fix this?

So I made my female sim join the film career, and when she reached level two the Have First Child wish popped up for her and her husband Patrick. After she had their son, Nathan, she wanted to quit work so I fulfilled that wish as well. When Nathan aged up to a child, I had her rejoin the film career, but she would not go to work. When it said she was late to work I clicked the "Go To Work" option for her but it just disappeared (I tried several times) and she wouldn't go to the studio. I had to make her quit work because her promotion bar started going down and turing red. Is there anyway to fix this?

Was her husband at home with the child at the time? Make sure u hire a babysitter if an adult is not present in the house, otherwise your sim wont leave.

The option did not pop up, but I did try that as well, I hired a babysitter and she still wouldn't go to work.

Did you try changing her into her career outfit before she went to work.

Did you make sure the lot for the Film Career was set to 'No Visitors Allowed' (if it is something else, they won't be able to enter the building and work)? This can be done in the Edit Town screen, selecting on the lot and changing the lot type.

You might want to try a resetSim if that isn't the case.

Rachel I'll have to give that a try. Ellenser I don't know how to edit town lots or even where to find them, is there another posting on the forum you can suggest to help with editing towns. Thank you both!
