Anyone else think the Flynns are a reference to A Series of Unfortunate Events?
Yep! And Jack Limb, Sarah Holden and Dr. Synapse are Nightmare before Christmas.
Julian Poirot is confusing me a bit. I think he's in reference to a part in
Watchmen, where Rorschach is telling a story about a depressed clown going to his doctor and asking for something to cheer him up. The doctor says, "Hey go see Pagliacci, he's the most amazing clown ever. He can make you happy." The clown starts to cry and says, "Doctor, I am Pagliacci!". I asked one of my friends about this sim and they think it's an Agatha Christie reference (Hercule Poirot).
edited to add: The more I think about it, the more I'm starting to think that the Winchesters are just red-headed Targaryens, minus the dragons.
