Can't find any merchants in the vacation places at all

It seemed a bug so I moved into the new game and travelled again but still can't find any merchants in the market. Any help please? No CCs I have. Thanks.

Summers, the first time my Sims arrive in a new town, it always takes a little time for the merchants to arrive at the stores.   I always give them a few hours to get in place before I take my Sims to the market.  Could that be what's happening in your game?

If no one turns up, you can fix it by replacing the registers.

- open the cheats panel and type in testingcheatsenabled true
- open the cheats panel again and type in enablelotlocking true
- go to edit town and click on the market place.
- There should be a little padlock on the blue info panel. Click it so that it looks unlocked.
- You can now use build/buy to delete the current registers and place new ones.
