Hey, it wasn't actually my lot but Matthew Hamming in my DecaDynasty casually went round to woo his lady, and the vamp she lives with died of starvation! He had the unlucky trait, though, so Grim let him off. He came back still in vamp form and strolled around the house like this was just a natural occurrence, it was rather funny. :P

If he was an unlucky vampire, maybe it was a natural occurence. ;)

Makes sense, especially as his housemates had absolutely no reaction at all! Matt got rather annoyed, it didn't exactly set the mood for romancing. ;D

Wow, I must be super unlucky because I feel like every sim in town comes to my lot specifically to die.  Any party with an elder results in a death, and stray pets always drop dead right on my front porch.  I assumed that this probably happened to everyone, but I guess it's unique to my game!  Maybe I should change my family's last name to Reaper.

I actually invite old people to my parties in hope that they die.    The game likes to give me pop ups that so & so is about to die and then I'll get a pop up for that person like 20 times before they actually die so I always see who is on the list and make sure to invite them over when I have a party.   The family's name is Grim so I guess it's expected.

One case - I had a person move into the house that had a younger brother in the child stage while she was a young adult.  With every party he became older until he was elder before his older sister was an elder.   This same guy didn't die until that his neice's elder birthday.  I had been an elder for her entire 70 days so far and then chose to die.

The only time Sims outside my active household die on my lot is when I invite them over and intentionally try to starve them.
But I could never starve the vampires. It seemed that they had an unlimited supply of plasma fruit.

“You ought to upgrade to Windows 7!”, they said. “It’ll help your games run so much better!”, they said. If I see them again, then they had better know how to stabilize an on-the-fritz copy of The Sims 3 that was working just fine on Windows XP.

Did the vampire come back as a vampire or as a regular Sim?
As a vampire, she died of thirst. The ghost was black with the beating heart effect.

We are of peace, always.
We'll help build a resistance. We have to fight.

For the truly wronged, satisfaction can be found in one of two places,  absolute forgiveness or mortal vindication. This is not a story about forgiveness. When deception cuts this deep, someone has to pay.
