Expansion install order / resetting town questions

Hey guys, getting back into Sims after a long break and have some questions!

1. The only expansion I own is World Adventures, I'm gonna lend Late Night off a friend, I know there's some weird commotion with discs though. Is the latest expansion you installed the one you need the disk for to start the game? So if I install Late Night and then World Adventures I'll be able to use the WA disk?
2. Always wondered this, is there a way to completely reset a town without losing a certain household?

1) It's the latest expansion released not installed so you'll always need the Late Night disc if that's how you installed it or until you get an EP or SP that came later in the Sims 3 timeline.

2) You can save a household to the bin and then start a new game.  There you can choose to move them into a new house through edit town or the "Move In Household" choice at the start of a new game.

Thanks a lot. I've actually been on the forum for over two years but never posted much

BTW, will Sims keep their skills if I keep them in the bin, and relations + relationships with each other? I think it's safe to assume that their relationships with everyone else will be lost though.

Also, Bebe Hart is married into said household but the rest are customs, what would happen to the new Bebe when I put the household in the new game?

The new Bebe would also be in the neighborhood just like she is in every start of Sunset Valley.   They will keep their relationships with each other but they won't with everyone else you're right.  Saving a Sim to the library versus in the CAS bin means that they keep skills so you won't have to worry about that either.
