Age sliders greyed out

The age sliders are greyed out!  I have enable aging checked, but that's also greyed out.  I can't touch anything that has to do with age, it's just greyed out.  How do I fix it?  I have already shut off the game and turned it back on again once.

We need more details, Coocoo.  What exactly are you trying to do where the sliders are grayed out?  Are you making a new Sim?  Changing an existing Sim?  I can't think of a time when age even has sliders.  In CAS, it's just a button to determine which age category you want.

I'm believe that Coocoo girl is talking about the sliders in the game options. If that's what you are talking about, did you enter game options before actually entering or starting a game? If you do so from the first menu (where you chose what game file to play) the age options are unusable. You have to enter a game (either a new or existing game) first and then go to the game options for tha age sliders to work.

(Bonks self on head)  Why didn't I figure that out!  Lol!  Well, it was about 3:00am, so I guess I wasn' using my brain.  Oh well, I guess this could help some simmers that will constantly play sims through summer until 3:00 am, possibly.  Now, I need to go play sims!
