Hello everyone! I am new to the forum, I joined because I want to do the challenges. I searched previous threads for the answer to my problem but couldn't find it. I apologise if this is a repeat.
I have a problem when trying to patch the game. I installed The Sims 3 with all the expansion packs via Steam. It definitely needs patching, but the "Game Updates" button does not appear on my Game Launcher (I assume this is because it's installed via Steam?) I've read that it's hard (or not possible) to manually patch a Steam-installed game from the official EA website.
So, my question is: is there a way to manually patch the game as it is, or am I better off just reinstalling it with Origin?

Edit: The Game Launcher tells me the version of the game is 16.0.137.019017
