Anyone have up-to-date list of spawners fish in WA?
« on: March 17, 2013, 09:37:23 AM »
I've checked the buydebug list, and some others but I can't find an up to date on WA spawner fish in buy/build mode using the cheat.  I found a list, but then lost it and since it was from a couple of years ago, I thought there might be an uptodate list.

This page should hopefully have all of the info you're after, unless you're looking for a specific list of what each fish spawner contains.

This page has a listing of what's in each spawner - except for WA ones, unfortunately.  This thread seems to have the WA fish spawner info in it.

Hopefully one of these links is what you're after!

Thank you for finding that one for me. I had found it then lost it.  It is the type I want, shows what type of fish is in each spawner.

The reason why I was wondering if there is a more recent update one is that the poster has the Oasis common and the Oasis Rare having the same fish.  There should be a difference; especially if one is rare.

"Oasis Common" (Crocodile; Frog; Red Herring; Siamese Catfish; Alley Catfish)
"Oasis Rare" (Crocodile; Frog; Red Herring; Siamese Catfish; Alley Catfish)

*********************************************

The same with the Frogs, common 1 and common 2 have the same fish in them. Thre should be a difference, even if it just one fish.

"France Common 1" (Frog; Snails; Crawfish; Red Herring; Rainbow Trout)
"France Common 2" (Frog; Snails; Crawfish; Red Herring; Rainbow Trout)

The person who did all of this work has done a wonderful job, a task I would never undertake as it would require a lot of work and dedication to finding this info.

It is easy when typing to miss something, especially when there is a lot in common in various categories, so to miss just a couple of fish is in itself an accomplishment.

I'm creating a garden with three ponds that will have fish from each country, so that I why I am looking for the specifics.

Even though we think they should have different fish.   They don't.  Those spawners actually do have the exact same fish in them.  If you have Supernatural, they all include Toads too.   The person who did the research didn't get it wrong.   I have a level 10 fisherman that I keep in my household bin.   I moved him into a new place and made four ponds on the lot.  I placed all four the spawners you're referring to above and got the exact lists that the person had, except for the toads.

Well, learn something new every day.  Seems strange that they (EA) would have it listed as two different types yet the same fish in both.

Yes, I have SN so I can add toads to the list.  Well, I now know what is in the spawners for my ponds and I don't have to juggle which ones can I put in.

Thanks for clarifying that for me.

The research is actually quite easy if you ever need to do it in the future.  What I did was in another file with needs static I had someone fish their way to level 10.  Then I saved him to my household bin.   So whenever I need to learn where fish are in a specific town, I can just insert him into the town and immediately click on any fishing spot to inspect the water.  It will tell me every fish for that spot.

With spawners, all I did was create four ponds on personal property and place them.  Then I inspected water.   The answer to this will never change as those fish will always be available.

Sounds like a winner, and one I will do.

I have been doing something similar with the gardening.  I have my fairy couple who I have played and they are maxed at the gardening and handiness.  I created my garden with all the perfect plants, the special ones, eggplant, steak and others. Now have the omini plants.

When I want to do a garden, I can just go to the town I have them saved in, Riveview, and with all of the perfect plants in their inventory, set up a new garden.   Won't ever have to start a garden with the normal plants anymore and work my way up.
