Walter Blackburn saved Gracie Loveland from Grim?

My two sims were at a party, and of course there was a vampire that decided she wasn't going to have anything to drink. She died, and shortly after Grim appeared I decided that maybe my couple should just go on a date. Later, I got that message, and I was wondering if anyone else has seen this message, and how it happened?

I have had my dog save a sim (in my household) from the reaper, so I am assuming it came with pets.

Oh yah, I saw that happen in a dynasty story. I'll have to check and see if Walter is a dog/cat!

Might want to be careful typing that out loud.  Metro has let it happen if its a surprise but I think he'd feel different if it was intentional

Haha yes, I was (mostly) kidding there. I do like to have a dog or cat in the house though, I actually have a puppy from a neighbor at the moment. If it's something you can actually tell the dog to do, I won't tell it to. Does it do it depending on the sim being a BFF or just how high their relationship is?

Lol, yeah. For me it's always a surprise because I'm rubbish at having my Sims forge relationships with their pets so when Sebastian Vanderburg was saved by Moons Jade I was pretty shocked because I never even knew they had such a high relationship!

From what I know it's maxed out relationship, not sure if it's BFF's or not. It's not an interaction though for sure.

In Artie's latest attempt, one of the cats saved Patricia Cross.   They didn't have maxed relationship but they were close.  And it's actually an action that pops up that can be cancelled if you notice it.  It's something like "Harass Death".

Oh yeah, I meant an interaction as in you can have the pet initiate it by clicking on the dying sim etc.

That's funny because I've never been able to get a dog or cat to manually do it.  I'll have to try that in a non dynasty file.  You learn something new every day.

One of us has gone wrong somewhere, probably me, Lol. I mean it isn't an interaction which can be initiated by you. So it's not something you can make happen, just luck.
