Graphics problem
« on: May 26, 2012, 06:58:40 AM »
I recently installed the Sims 3 onto my computer because I had my computer upgraded to Windows 7. I installed it and I went onto the game and this is what I found...

Any help? :S

You say you got Sims 3 because you upgraded the computer to Windows 7.. does that mean that you couldn't run the game before? Updating the operating system alone will not make a computer able to handle Sims 3. Do you know the specs of your computer? The graphics card details plus processor etc?

No what I mean is that I had my computer updated to Windows 7 and installed Sims 3 and this happend. It had previously worked on the same computer when it was on XP. :( I don't know how to find out the specs :S

Oh OK. If it played before then the computer hardware shouldn't be a problem. Did you install all the correct drivers after installing Windows 7. Things like your graphics card need the correct drivers for different operating systems to work correctly.
