Green House
« on: November 18, 2013, 09:34:58 AM »
Is there a way to build a green house so that you can have a garden year round?  I know you can use planters inside, but it gets to be a chore to water those each day if you have a large amount of plants (I usually have 30 - 60 plants at a time), and using the sprinkler inside kind of sucks (get to mop up the puddles or deal with the dirty surroundings moodlet).

Thanks.

You can also plant inside using moveobjects on, but yes, you do have to deal with long watering times/puddles if you plant indoors. The only way to circumvent this is through certain Premium Content items from the Store (the SwiftGro Greenhouse object waters every plant planted under it, and the Green Dragon that came with Dragon Valley automatically waters and harvests plants when you command it to).

If you have World Adventures, you can also get a vacation home and plant outside there without worrying about weather and seasons.

I use the green dragon, but it doesn't seem to water plants.  If I don't use sprinklers, they start to wilt.

In Into the Future there are special carpets/mats that you can buy which allow you to grow plants indoors. I believe there's also transparent floor/roof tiles at last.
