Not able to go to work

So, after my sim's usual playing for tips routine, I send her to work. But the only problem is, is that the action gets cancelled. Would leaving the job, then do testcheatsenabled true to make her back to her level work?
She does the Guitar career, if any of you were asking.

UPDATE: I had decided to quit her job, then I did the cheat so she got back to her previous level. Then, I waited for her next work day, and it still didn't work. Even when the car had come to her house automatically.
Has anyone had this problem before?

Did she have a child recently? That happened to me before, where my Sim couldn't work after she had her child.

Yes, she did have a child quite recently.
I also have decided for her to quit her job anyway. She makes more money playing for tips.  :)
